About Me
Hi, I’m Heather Lambert — Founder of The Lice Specialist of Alabama.
For over 15 years, I proudly built Head Hunters Lice Specialist into one of the most trusted names in head lice removal in Atlanta, GA. I helped thousands of families find peace of mind during stressful times, and I became known not only for effective treatment, but also for compassion and education.
But like many others, my business was deeply affected by the devastation of 2020. The head lice industry saw a wave of closures across the country, mine included, and the number of reliable resources available to families shrank overnight.
Even in the middle of that disruption, I never let go of my passion for helping families. After taking time to reflect, regroup, and heal, I made the bold decision to step back into the industry, but this time, in a new home: Madison, Alabama.
Since my official launch here in February 2024, the warmth and kindness of this community have been overwhelming in the best way. I’ve felt truly welcomed, and I’m so thankful to be here.
At first, I continued under the name I had built in Atlanta. But as I settled into this incredible community, it became clear that this chapter needed something new; a brand that reflects not just where I came from, but where I’m growing. Madison deserves the best version of me: passionate, present, and energized for what’s ahead.
My mission remains the same:
To provide effective and compassionate care for families facing head lice while also removing the stigma, educating the community, and restoring calm when it’s needed most.

My mission is to provide a knowledgeable resource that furnishes a nontoxic natural treatment option by educating, empowering, treating and preventing head lice in our community. I specialize in calming fears, anxieties and turning an overwhelming lice situation into a manageable one.
Being an all-encompassing resource for clients, I outperform the competition by being honest, straightforward and fair. I offer flat rate prices and have a minimum standard when offering treatment. Clients get a full educational dialogue that will teach you how to handle head lice now and in the future. By empowering my clients with knowledge about lice, I offer a key resource for your family to learn about eliminating an infestation and preventing a reoccuring infestation.
